Mid-Century Murano Glass Aubergine Vase

Murano Aubergine Sommerso Glass Vase

A striking hand-crafted Murano glass vase featuring a deep aubergine core encased in thick, crystal-clear glass using the celebrated sommerso (“submerged”) technique. The elongated teardrop form showcases exceptional clarity and weight, allowing the rich plum coloration to appear suspended within the transparent outer layer.

Sleek, sculptural, and unmistakably Italian, this piece exemplifies mid-century Murano artistry—elegant in its simplicity yet dramatic in presence.
